With the Perseid meteor shower peaking and cloud-free night in the forecast, I decided to spend the night alongside the impressive Coleman Glacier, cascading down the northwestern flank of Mt. Baker. In the early morning, several hours before dawn, I started taking images, watching numerous meteors blaze across the sky. Looking eastward, the Moon alongside Jupiter to the upper right were visible in the early hours of the day. And although the majority of Perseids were out of frame, I was fortunate enough to catch one streaking across the night sky above the summit of Mt. Baker. It was a beautiful evening and a stunning show.
